Our SATO team works to help those need within our greater community by providing opportunities for congregants to get involved.

With The Network of Community Ministries as our strategic partner, we work to improve the lives and welfare of the Richardson community by hosting food drives, diaper drives, and clothing drives.

Our annual Karen Leynor Mitzvah Day (KLMD) honors the wife of our former rabbi, Jeffrey Leynor זצ"ל. Karen, a social worker who truly enjoyed helping others, died tragically at the age of 38 from a brain aneurysm. Projects, both on–site and off, are available for sign–up and assigned on a first-come, first–served basis.

With NCM, KLMD, and much in between—from holiday gift parties for low–income families to blood drives or feeding visitors at Ronald McDonald house to supporting North Texas Food Bank—SATO has an opportunity for everyone to open your hand wide to your brother, to the poor, and to the needy of your land. (Deuteronomy 15:11)
