There are eight major institutions of higher education in Israel offering study abroad and undergraduate and graduate degree programs that also include a comprehensive package of tours of the country, archeological digs, and social events. All programs are offered in English with a Hebrew study component, or in Hebrew with the option to submit work in English.
 
Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan 
Israel’s academic university emphasizing Jewish heritage and practice offers qualified students access to all of its 52 academic departments and programs.
 
Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beersheva 
International Non–Degree Programs in Hebrew Language Studies, Sustainable Development, Global Health, Israel Studies, Academic Internships (for credit); study in Anthropology, Politics, Communication, History, Sociology, and more.

International Summer School in Global Health, Human Rights, Hebrew Ulpan.

Hebrew University, Rothberg International School, Jerusalem 
Founded in 1918, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is Israel’s second-oldest university, after the Technion. The Hebrew University has three campuses in Jerusalem and one in Rehovot.

Israel’s oldest university offers two outstanding international programs in English: American Medical School (TEAM) and MBA—Start-up Nation, in conjunction with Cornell, Yale, and others.

Institute of Jewish learning founded in 1972. It is open to post–college men and women and is located in Jerusalem’s Talpiot neighborhood. Pardes is an open, co–ed and non–denominational Jewish learning community based in Jerusalem and with programs worldwide.

Students encounter and grapple with classic texts and traditions of Judaism, while exploring their relevance to today’s most pressing issues.

The Pardes model has inspired four decades of Jewish leadership marked by openness, passion, Jewish literacy, knowledge and inclusivity, and continues to inspire new possibilities for Jewish communities worldwide.
